Super Falcons End 2015 As Best Team In Africa
Published: December 18, 2015African champions, the Falcons of Nigeria, have climbed one spot in the year end Fifa ranking for women released on Friday morning.
Compared to their ranking the previous quarter, Nigeria are in the 37th position in the global ranking, garnering 1602 points in total.
The Falcons are the top team in Africa followed by Cameroon, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea and South Africa in that order.
The top thirteen positions remains unchanged, meaning USA, Germany, France, Japan and England are the best five countries in the world.
The next world ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com, on 25 March 2016.
