Okocha, Kanu & Mikel Make List Of Top Ten Richest African Players

French publication Footendirect has claimed that former Bolton Wanderers skipper Okocha has a personal fortune of $150 million and is the fourth richest player from the dark continent.
Fifth on the list is ex Arsenal striker Nwankwo Kanu, who has a net worth of approximately $100 million, while Obi Mikel is reportedly worth $50 million and occupied eighth place behind Togo international of Nigerian descent, Emmanuel Adebayor.
Africa’s richest player is Antalyaspor striker Samuel Eto’o followed by Ivorians Yaya Toure and Didier Drogba.
