Derick Ogbu Mulling Over His Future At Liaoning Whowin
Derick Chuka Ogbu has kept Chinese Super League club Liaoning Whowin waiting over a contract extension, with his current deal set to expire at the end of this month.

The ex OH Leuven hero has been one of the standout players for Liaoning Whowin since he arrived the club from CFR Cluj in the summer of 2014, scoring 16 goals ( 6 assists) in 42 appearances in the top - flight.

“They gave me a renewal but I put it on hold, I will decide after Christmas. I am checking other options, ”  Chuka said to allnigeriasoccer.com.

Should the 25 - year - old fail to renew his Liaoning Whowin vows, he is not lacking interest, with teams in Europe and the Gulf monitoring his transfer situation.

“I have serious offers in Turkey, Russia and Gulf, these are places that can meet my requirements. There are many from Belgium, Hungary, Holland and France, ” he added.

Ogbu spent his formative years as a footballer at Enugu Rangers before transferring to Qatari club Umm Salal in 2010.
