Kingsley Sokari was pleased to make his official debut for CS Sfaxien in their 2 -1 win over CS Hammam-Lif  on Wednesday in the Tunisian Ligue 1 but admitted that he is not yet in tip - top condition.

The former Enyimba star could have played his first match for the Juventus of the Arabs last weekend against Etoile du Sahel but the transfer was not yet completed as the Nigeria Football Federation had delayed the sending of his International Transfer Certificate to the Tunisian FA.

“I am disappointed that I did not score but I also thank God for the victory, ” says Kingsley Sokari to allnigeriasoccer.com.

“I believe I will get better each game, it was my first game since the end of the Nigeria Professional Football League. I will say I am 60 percent fit.”

“Junior has helped me settle, he has been my friend since we started the Under 23s and we do play together always.

“We do communicate well on and off the pitch, ”Sokari added.

The 20 - year - old Sokari has penned a three - and - a - half year deal with CS Sfaxien that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2018.
