Exclusive : Agent Reacts To Roma, Atletico Madrid Interest In Watford Star Odion Ighalo
Published: December 28, 2015Norwegian intermediary Atta Aneke has reacted to speculation in the local and foreign media linking his client, Watford’s Odion Ighalo, with possible moves to AS Roma and Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window.
Without disclosing the identities of interested teams, the Oslo - based agent has admitted that several clubs are exploring ways to sign the Nigeria international in the winter transfer market but stressed that he remains focused on helping Watford.
“There is nothing concrete yet, many teams are interested in Ighalo of course, ”Aneke, who is presently in England, told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“All he is focusing on is to continue doing well with Watford and we will see what happens. ”
In the summer transfer market, Odion Ighalo and his representative rejected a big money move to Chinese club Hebei China Fortune.
The 26 - year - old has scored 13 goals in 18 Premier League appearances in the ongoing campaign.
