Adigun Salami Hoping To Join New Team In January
Published: December 30, 2015Former FC Midtjylland midfielder Adigun Salami has been without a club for six months since he parted company with SønderjyskE.
Now 27, the FC Ebedei product was regarded as one of the top talents produced by the academy and was invited to train with English club Chelsea in January 2008.
Danish champions FCM expected great things from Salami but injuries curtailed his development and he suffered the same fate when he transferred to SønderjyskE.
I hope soon that a club will give me the opportunity to play, so I can show my self again. I feel ready and just trying to find a club where I can play football, ” says Salami to Jyllands-Posten.
“I hope to find in January, and it may be in the first or second division. Just the best possible level. ”
Salami made over 100 appearances for FC Midtjylland before he quit the club three years ago.
