Austin Amutu To Reject Angers SCO Move In Favour Of Ironi Kiryat Shmona
Austin Amutu will reject a move to French club Angers SCO in the January transfer window as he has opted to sign for his first suitor Ironi Kiryat Shmona, who have offered him a three - and - a - half - year contract after passing a medical.

Angers SCO are this season’s surprise package in the French Ligue 1 but have struggled to score goals, with PSG star  Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring two goals less than the entire squad.

Guinea international forward Abdoul Camara may be departing the Stade Jean-Bouin this month and has been linked with a move to Derby County.

French sports daily L’Equipe has reported on its electronic edition that the leadership of Angers has targeted Austin Amutu to replace Camara.

The 22 - year  - old Amutu has been recommended to Angers by Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, who has an excellent relationship with Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick, the former Chairman, Delta State Sports Commission who used to oversee Warri Wolves.

The Dream Team VI trainee represented Warri Wolves before joining Malaysian team Kelantan FA on loan in April 2015.
