Exclusive : Alhaji Gero Set For Showdown Talks With Viborg Over Termination Of Contract

According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com’s editorial staff, Alhaji Gero and his intermediary will hold showdown talks with officials of Viborg on Monday over the striker’s future with the Superliga club.

Gero, who penned a three - year deal with The Green Ones in December 2014, is unhappy with his playing opportunities since his arrival at the  Energi Viborg Arena.

While Gero has a good relationship with the Viborg hierarchy , he is not on good terms with manager Johnny Molby and a solution needs to be found in the coming days for club and play to terminate the contract binding them by mutual consent.

A return to Sweden may be on the cards for the ex - öster frontman as three Allsvenskan teams are monitoring his situation with Viborg, while a Norwegian Premier League club are ready to swoop for the unhappy Nigerian.

This season, the 22 - year - old has made eight appearances off the bench in the Superliga, accumulating 100 minutes of game time in the process.
