KuPS CEO Insists Azubuike Egwuekwe Has Valid Contract Despite Denial By Defender
KuPS CEO Jarmo Heiskanen has rubbished statements credited to Azubuike Egwuekwe in which the Nigeria international denied that he signed a contract with the Veikkausliiga club.

The club supremo has revealed that the Warri Wolves defender will depart Nigeria to begin a new adventure in Finland once he is issued a visa which might take several weeks.

“I heard the rumor , but it is not true. I talked to his agent and he said that the thing is in order. The contract has been signed and the names on the paper, Jarmo Heiskanen told iltasanomat.fi.

We had our own representative presence in Nigeria , too , when the contract was signed . We have a picture when Egwuekwe signed the contract.

Football is a very exciting world . All what is written there is not always true.

KuPS reported via their official webpage last week that the Warri Wolves stopper will join the club on a 1 + 1 year deal if he passes a medical examination.
