NFF Official Killed In Abuja By Armed Robbers
Published: January 06, 2016Ibrahim Abubakar, the Nigeria Football Federation Head of Protocol, was shot dead by armed robbers in his house in Abuja in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to a release by the NFF, the remains of the deceased is being taken to Kaduna for burial.
A source close to Ibrahim Abubakar told allnigeriasoccer.com : “ He was a very nice man, helped us with letters to European embassies for our players invited for trials.
“Unlike the average Nigeria Football Federation staff, he did not ask us for a single kobo for these letters.”
Ibrahim Abubakar was a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and had three kids before he departed this sinful world.
