San Jose Earthquakes Midfielder Fatai Alashe Gets United States Call - Up

San Jose Earthquakes star Fatai Alashe has been named to the United States National Team’s roster for the first training camp in 2016 which begins on Monday, January 11.
Born in Michigan 22 years ago, the youngster was one of the eight midfielders included in the roster announced by Head Coach Jurgen Klinsmann on Wednesday.
Alashe has caps for the United States U23s and was a member of the squad that finished third in the CONCACAF Men’s Olympic qualifying tournament.
He was nominated for the the 2015 AT&T Rookie of the Year award, which was eventually won by Orlando City forward Cyle Larin.
Last season, the Nigerian - American suited up 28 times in the MLS, scoring in games against Chicago Fire ( March 23) and Seattle Sounders (September 13).
