Fifa Ranking : Super Eagles Rated The 14h Best Team In Africa
Published: January 07, 2016Football governing body, Fifa, on Thursday morning published its latest ranking of National Teams.
Compared to their position the previous month, the Super Eagles of Nigeria , maintained their 66th position, while in the continental ranking, they are in 14th place.
Ivory Coast, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde Islands and Tunisia are the top five teams in Africa in that order.
Our rivals to book a ticket to the next African Nations Cup - Egypt, Chad and Tanzania - are placed 58th, 113th and 126th in the global ranking.
There were no changes in the top five, with Belgium leading the way followed by Argentina, Spain, Germany and Chile.
