Fegor Ogude Granted Compassionate Leave In The Wake Of Kidnap Of Wife

Russian Premier League club Amkar Perm headed off to the United Arab Emirates on Monday for the start of winter training without their Nigeria national - teamer Fegor Ogude.
The central midfielder has been granted compassionate leave by the club following the kidnap of his wife by yet to be identified gunmen, but she has returned safe and sound to her family on Sunday night.
“The team set off in full, except for Fegor Ogude, which the club has provided additional leave due to his current situation, ” Amkar Perm stated in a press release.
During the training camp which will run until January 31, Amkar Perm will be involved in four tune - up games, including a meeting with Zamalek on January 30.
Ogude has made 16 appearances for Amkar Perm across all competitions so far this season.
