Fegor Ogude Thanks NFF, Media And Nigerians For Their Support
Published: January 12, 2016Amkar Perm midfielder Fegor Ogude has thanked the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation led by Amaju Pinnick, the Nigerian media and all Nigerians for standing by his family when his wife was abducted.
Maimunat Ogude was released by her abductors on Sunday night, six days after she was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Warri, Delta State.
“For now I am still speechless, trying to recover from the trauma my family went through, but thank God we now have her in our custody, safe and sound, I just want to get off the public glare so that my wife can overcome the sad experience, ” said Ogude.
“For me and my family we want to thank the leadership of the NFF led by the president Amaju Pinnick who aside calling us, assisted in his private capacity.
“We also want to thank the Nigeria media for all what they did for me, not forgetting the Nigerian nation for all their moral and spiritual support.”
Meanwhile, the Nigeria international has been granted compassionate leave by Amkar Perm and did not travel with the squad to United Arab Emirates on Monday for a training camp.
