Fegor Ogude Joins Amkar Perm In UAE This Weekend
Published: January 15, 2016Fegor Ogude will jet out to the United Arab Emirates this weekend from Nigeria to link up with his Amkar Perm teammates at their training camp.
The Nigeria international had been granted compassionate leave by the Russian Premier League club following the kidnap of his wife in Warri, Delta State.
At the start of this week, Ogude’s wife was released from captivity but the central midfielder was unable to rejoin his club because he was emotionally downcast.
“After all that has happened we gave Fegor a few days to recover, now he feels better. At the weekend Ogude supposed to come to the training camp in UAE,” Executive Director of Amkar Perm, Denis Maslov, said to R-Sport.
Fegor Ogude paid a ransom of =N=1.3 million before his wife was released by her abductors.
