Chikeluba Ofoedu Ends Five - Month Goal Drought
Published: January 16, 2016Chikeluba Ofoedu could not prevent Samsunspor from losing 2 - 1 to Altinordu in the Turkish First League on Saturday despite scoring his fourth goal of the season.
The 23 - year - old had not scored in the second - tier since August 23, 2015 when he notched a brace in Samsunspor’s 3 - 3 draw with Adana Demirspor.
On 20 minutes, Ofoedu gave the Red Lightning the lead from the penalty spot but two goals in the second half by Abdioglu and Harlak gave the visitors all three points.
The former Enugu Rangers star scored against today’s opponents when both teams faced off in the first stanza of the league on August 16.
