Confusion Trails Kelechi Nwakali Transfer To Arsenal; Diamond Academy Instructs Staff To Return Bribe Collected From Stellar Group
Published: January 20, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that confusion trails the
proposed transfer of Nigeria U17 internationals Kelechi Nwakali and
Samuel Chukwueze to English Premier League table-toppers Arsenal.
Despite interest from a clutch of clubs across Europe and other EPL teams, President of Diamond Football Academy Umuahia Mr. Martin Apugo had given his word to the Gunners brass that his pupils will be heading to London to formalize their switch to the Emirates.
But Apugo is having a change of mind now after discovering that Stellar Group, who were issued a mandate to represent both Golden Eaglets stars, infiltrated the ranks of Diamond Academy by bribing(and this should be marked in bold) several key officials.
Martin Apugo has claimed that he wasn’t aware that several of his personnel received financial inducement from Stellar Group’s African representative, Dapo Olowu, and has informed the affected staff to return the money offered by the United Kingdom-based agency.
The Diamond Academy CEO is uncertain whether or not Nwakali and Chukwueze will be offered a contract by Arsenal without undergoing trials as the letter that emanated from N7 7AJ was vague on that subject.
The Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick, is not hiding the fact that he is an Arsenal faithful and has been pressurizing Diamond Academy to accept the proposal from Arsenal.
