Sunday Oliseh Apologizes To Nigerians After CHAN Exit

Coach Sunday Oliseh has apologized to millions of Nigerian fans after the Super Eagles exited the African Nations Championship following their 1-0 loss to Guinea.
The national team went into Tuesday afternoon’s clash at the Umuganda Stadium, Gisenyi knowing that they will secure qualification for the quarterfinals if they avoid defeat.
“We apologize to Nigerians for this loss, we never planned to exit the tournament this early. The boys gave their best, ” said Sunday Oliseh.
Of the five goals the Super Eagles scored in Rwanda, four of them were credited to Wydad Casablanca target Chisom Chikatara.
The Super Eagles next competitive fixture is against Egypt on March 23 on home soil before another meeting with the North Africans four days later.
