One-cap Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho bagged his first-ever professional hat-trick as Manchester City thrashed Aston Villa 4-0 at Villa Park.
The 19-year-old opened scoring in the 4th minute before converting a spot-kick 20 minutes later. On74 minutes, he scored his third of the evening before teeing up Raheem Sterling for the final goal of the game.
Iheanacho lasted the distance while Aston Villa’s Gabby Agbonlahor was introduced in the 65th minute, his first match since December 5.
Over to The Emirates, holders Arsenal are through to the fifth round after a hard-fought 2-1 win against Burnley.
Super Eagles striker Alex Iwobi played 71 minutes of that contest before he was substituted.
Londoners Tottenham Hotspur go through to the next round following their 4-1 hammering of Colchester United. Josh Onomah came off the bench 14 minutes from time while teammate Dele Alli was an unused sub.
Ex-Spain youth international Derick Osede was included in Bolton Wanderers 18-man squad against Leeds United. Anglo-Nigerian Tom Adeyemi helped the visitors secure a 2-1 win, coming off the bench in the first minute of stoppage time.
Victor Anichebe played the last 23 minutes of West Brom’s 2-2 draw with Peterborough United.
Odion Ighalo netted the match-winner for Watford one minute from time in their 1-0 win against Nottingham Forest. He came on in the 72nd minute.
Peter Odemwingie started for Stoke City in their 1-0 loss to homers Crystal Palace. He subbed out in the 75th minute.
Hope Akpan wasn’t in the squad for Blackburn Rovers 3-0 win against Oxford United at The Kassam Stadium.

Akpom and Sone Aluko were handed starts at Gigg Lane and the Super Eagle was replaced five minutes from time. Bury’s Kelvin Etuhu left the pitch in the 10th minute after picking up an injury.
In the late kickoff, Victor Moses, Angelo Ogbonna (both West Ham) and Jordon Ibe (Liverpool) start for their respective teams while Tiago Ilori is on the bench for The Reds.
