Taye Taiwo Sparks Comeback As HJK,HIJK Share Spoils In Derby
Taye Taiwo scored his second goal of the season as Finnish powerhouse HJK Helsinki played out a 3-3 draw with city rivals HIFK in the League Cup on Tuesday.

The Nigeria international sparked a comeback for The Club by reducing the deficit in the 21st minute with his trademark shot from distance.

Joni Korhonen restored HIFK’s two-goal advantage in the 65th minute before HJK scored through Lassi Jarvenpaa and Alfredo Morales to tie the contest.

Taiwo and midfielder Vincent Onovo, who joined HJK at the end of the 2015 season, went the distance at Talin halli (Helsinki).

The former Marseille skipper scored his first-ever goal for the 27-time Finnish champs at the end of January vs Mariehamn.
