Christian Obodo Makes Concordia Chiajna Debut Against Steaua Bucuresti
Published: February 16, 2016Christian Obodo made his competitive debut for Concordia Chiajna in their Liga 1 game against Romanian powerhouse Steaua Bucure�ti on Monday night.
The former Udinese and Fiorentina star was inactive for approximately ten months before he took to the Stadionul Concordia pitch, having played his last game defending the colours of Xanthi against Olympiakos on May 23, 2015.
Concordia Chiajna suffered a 2-0 loss at home to Steaua Bucure�ti, with Obodo working a 90-minute shift in midfield, despite receiving a booking two minutes before the intermission.
The Nigeria international’s contract with Concordia Chiajna is designed for five months.
