Oghenekaro Etebo Delighted To Score On Nigeria Debut
Ex-Warri Wolves star Oghenekaro Etebo was a surprise inclusion in the Super Eagles starting line-up against Egypt on Friday evening and repaid manager Samson Siasia’s faith by scoring on his competitive debut for the national team.

The new Clube Desportivo de Feirense acquisition was disappointed with the way the game panned out at the end, with Roma sensation Salah notching a late, late equalizer to give the Pharaohs a share of the spoils.

“I return all glory to God for my first senior international goal for the Nigeria Super Eagles, though the game ended 1-1.

With God’s help we will complete the task in Egypt,” Oghenekaro Etebo said.

Etebo has other things to worry about after the reverse fixture in Alexandria this coming Tuesday, with the attacking midfielder yet to resume training with
Clube Desportivo de Feirense two months after agreeing terms with the Portuguese setup.

The 20-year-old is still processing his work permit visa to Portugal and was asked by the embassy to provide an additional document on Thursday, March 24.

Because of the public holidays, the visa could be ready by next week .
