Aluko,27, was handed his eighth start of this season in the Tigers 4-0 loss to Derby County on Tuesday and had to be substituted 20 minutes from time as a result of the ailment.
Moses Odubajo’s services will not be needed as he has been handed a one-match ban following his dismissal against Derby County.
England youth international Chuba Akpom has lost his place in the starting XI since the start of this year but remains available for selection against The Terriers.
