Update :Coach Amuneke Begins Running The Rule Over Wolfsburg - Bound Osimhen
Published: April 13, 2016Wolfsburg-bound striker Victor Osimhen has resumed training with the Flying Eagles , ahead of the 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifiers against Burundi, but Nwakali who is in Nigeria is yet to arrive in Abuja as at 1530 hours on Wednesday.
Both players had to cut their training with their respective European clubs short as a result of the Nigeria U20s get-together.
When asked if both players have resumed training, coach Emmanuel Amuneke simply told allnigeriasoccer.com : “ Yes, the two players(Nwakali and Osimhen) are in camp.”
Initially, the pair were not named on the 30-player squad list but it is thought they would have been called up days leading up to the clash against Burundi.
The Flying Eagles are the defending champions of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
