Tomori, Adarabioyo,Dele-Bashiru&Ugbo Feature As Chelsea Beat Man City In FA Youth Cup Final
Published: April 28, 2016Four players of Nigerian descent were in action on Wednesday night at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea beat Manchester City 4-2 on aggregate to win the FA Youth Cup for the third year in a row.
England youth international Tosin Adarabioyo led the Manchester City U18s out of the dressing room, Canada U20 star Fikayo Tomori started in defense for the Young Blues, while Dele-Bashiru and Ike Ugbo came on in the 75th and 83rd minute respectively.
Fikayo continued his excellent goalscoring form in recent games as he put Chelsea 3-0 up in the 73rd minute after Sterling and Abraham had registered their names on the score sheet.
The 18-year-old headed past goalkeeper Grimshaw after Mount had whipped in an inviting cross.
Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho was in action for City U18s last April when they lost the FA Youth Cup to Chelsea.
