United States Move Ahead Of Nigeria,Holland For Services Of FC Dordrecht Wonderkid Lateef Omidiji Jr
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) have set the ball rolling in their bid to cap the highly-rated FC Dordrecht striker Lateef Omidiji Jr.

Lateef was born on September 12, 2003 in the United States to a Nigerian father and an American mother from Las Vegas which makes him eligible to represent the Americans, but it will be a major coup if the Technical Committee and the NFF Board manage to convince him to wear the colours of Nigeria’s youth teams.

This website has been informed that the USSF, from the President to the technical staff, are very keen on the young star and plan to invite him to camp with their U14s this summer

Lateef Omidiji Jr. is an attacker in the mould of Barcelona star Luis Suárez, not a huge dribbler but very technical, very fast, a great finisher and is a player that can change a game with one touch.

FC Dordrecht U14s coach has remarked that  he would ask the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) how they can expedite his citizenship because they dont want to play against him at international youth tournaments in the future.

Several European clubs are monitoring the progress of Lateef Omidiji Jr. at FC Dordrecht but are aware that they can not agree terms with the player until he attains the age of majority.

He is believed to be on the radar of English Premier League clubs after putting himself in the shop window at the Keele Cup in Manchester in 2013 where he showed his speed and technical skills playing against some of the top 13 year olds in Europe.
