Two Players Of Nigerian Descent Feature As England Beat France In U17 Euro

The England U17s got their 2016 UEFA European Under-17 Championship campaign back on track on Monday evening after beating defending champs France 2-0 .
Fulham starlet Dennis Adeniran was handed his first start while Tolaji Bola, who got injured in the first half against Sweden, and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Samuel Shashoua started on the bench.
The Young Lions went in front in the 15th minute courtesy of Ben Morris, who tapped in from close range after the ball was rolled across the face of goal by Dozzell.
Two minutes before the intermission, England doubled the advantage thanks to Reiss Nelson who confidently dispatched a spot kick to take his tally to 8 goals in the competition, including the qualifying rounds.
Adeniran played the full ninety minutes while Shashoua was introduced ten minutes from time.
