Ikechi Anya Named In Scotland Squad For Friendlies Against Italy,France
Published: May 12, 2016Watford star Ikechi Anya has been called up by Scotland for their upcoming international friendlies against Italy and France.
The 28-year-old Anya was eligible to represent Nigeria and Romania internationally before pledging his international future to Scotland, where he was born.
He made his international debut for the Tartan Terriers against Belgium in a World Cup qualifier in September 2013 and was in action against the Super Eagles in an international friendly at Craven Cottage eight months later.
Ikechi Anya has won 19 international caps for Scotland and scored three goals for the team since his debut.
Scotland face Italy on May 29 before squaring off against Euro 2016 host France six days later.
