Flying Eagles Star Osimhen Given The Green Light To Face Burundi;Starts Light Training
Published: May 13, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Wolfsburg-bound Nigeria youth international Victor Osimhen is not in danger of missing the Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifier against Burundi.
Having undergone a scan to determine the severity of the injury he picked up against the Olympic Team on Thursday, team medics have confirmed that he suffered a minor shoulder injury and it is not something major that will make him not travel with the squad to Bujumbura.
To buttress that point, Osimhen, himself, has confirmed that he is not feeling pains and jogged with the rest of his Flying Eagles teammates on Friday afternoon, but did not train with the rest of the squad.
The Ultimate Strikers poster boy is expected to resume full training with the Nigeria U20s on Monday, May 16.
