Kelechi Iheanacho Sends Out Thank You Message To Man City Faithful
Published: May 16, 2016Kelechi Iheanacho took to social media to thank the Manchester City supporters after playing his last competitive game of the season on Sunday against Swansea City.
The Nigeria international was promoted to City’s first team in August after displaying his wares during pre-season training, and impressed in his first season as a professional having scored 14 goals in total, including his strike at SA1 2FA .
“Thanks you to all the @MCFC fans for all your support. You made my first season a fantastic one. Have a great summer , ” said Kelechi Iheanacho on Twitter.
Manchester City will qualify for next season’s Champions League if Manchester United fail to beat Bournemouth 19-0 in a rescheduled fixture.
The 19-year-old Iheanacho is due to link up with his international teammates in France in the coming days ahead of the Super Eagles friendly against Mali.
