Raheem Lawal Set For Super Eagles Friendlies, Hits Camp May 24th
Osmanlıspor’s Raheem Lawal is set for the Super Eagles friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg in Europe after helping his Turkish Super Lig side qualify for next season’s Europa League on Thursday.

The central midfielder and Aminu Umar worked a ninety-minute shift as Osmanlıspor recorded a 1-0 win against Akhisar Belediyespor, thanks to Umar who bagged the winner just before the hour mark.

“I will be at the Super Eagles camp on the 24th of May, after the Eagles friendlies I will travel to Miami (USA) with my family for the holidays, ” Raheem Lawal said to allnigeriasoccer.com.

“We qualified for the Europa League, I am so happy because it wasn’t easy and our team is not a big team.

“I was really impressed with Osmanlıspor after I joined them in the second half of the season. ”

Lawal has hinted that he may not feature for Osmanlıspor  in the 2016-2017 campaign, as he is targeting a move to one of the top clubs in Turkey or overseas.

The number 12 said : “ It was really a good season for me, hope I am going to join a big club next season. Any big club in Turkey or Europe. ”

Lawal was in the international wilderness for close to two years until he was recalled by interim Super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf.
