Blessing Eleke Named In Slovenian Players Union Team Of The Year

The Slovenian Football Players Union, SPINS, recognized Olimpija Ljubljana striker Blessing Eleke in its recently held annual gala by naming him in the Team of the Year for 2015-2016.
Based on votes made by the players, Eleke was included in the ceremonial starting XI and led the frontline alongside Andraz šporar (Olimpija) and Jean-Philippe Mendy (NK Maribor).
The 20-year-old had a breakthrough season this term which earned him a move to the Slovenian champions in the winter transfer market.
Blessing Eleke was among the seven Olimpija Ljubljana players included in the Team of the Year otherwise called the SPINS 11.
With one round to go before the end of the league, the Flying Sport Academy product has scored 14 goals from 30 games.
