Published: May 20, 2016
Opeh Samuel was a late inclusion in the Nigeria U20s squad before their departure to Bujumbura on Wednesday afternoon, the Nigeria Football Federation has informed.
Tobechukwu Ibe was initially named to the roster but the defender was axed at the last minute after he failed a fitness test.
Samuel had been tipped to make the squad list by allnigeriasoccer.com but had missed out when the list of 18 players was made public on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Flying Eagles had a light training session on Thursday after a stressful journey from Abuja.
The match against Burundi will kick off at 1300 hours Nigerian time on Saturday, May 21 at the Prince Louis Stadium.
