FC Dallas Striker Akindele Named To MLS Team Of The Week
Published: May 23, 2016FC Dallas striker Tesho Akindele has been named to Major League Soccer Team of the Week on the back of his display against New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium this past weekend.
Akindele, who is a Canada international, netted a brace against New England Revolution in the 5th and 90th minute to take his tally in the league to five goals.
After 14 games in the American top division, the 24-year-old is now tied for the leading scorer of FC Dallas .
In a 3-5-2 formation, Tesho Akindele was selected in attack alongside Bradley Wright-Phillips of New York Red Bulls.
