Published: May 25, 2016The Nigeria squad, consisting of the Super Eagles backroom staff and a number of invited players, departed Abuja on Tuesday night for France ahead of the friendly with Mali in Rouen.
CD Feirense midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo, Monaco fullback Elderson Echiejile, Lazio’s Eddy Onazi and Olympiakos striker Brown Ideye were in the traveling party to Normandy.
Former Flying Eagles stars Shehu Abdullahi, Musa Mohammed, Kingsley Madu and Aminu Umar were also on the plane that took off from Abuja.
Meanwhile, Watford striker Odion Ighalo was the first player to arrive at the Team Hotel in Rouen on Tuesday, confirming the statements he made to allnigeriasoccer.com last weekend.
