Milan Loanee Oduamadi Enjoying Most Productive Spell In Pro Career, Nets Fourth Goal In Five Games
Published: May 26, 2016Nigeria national-teamer Nnamdi Oduamadi continued his brilliant start to his career with HJK Helsinki, helping the Finnish powerhouse beat HIFK 2-1 in the derby on Thursday evening by scoring his fourth goal in five games.
Coming into today’s tie at the Sonera Stadium (Helsinki), HJK were on a three-game winning streak and it turned to four at the end of ninety minutes thanks to Oduamadi, who scored the winner after 11 minutes.
HJK jumped out to the lead in the second minute through Alfredo Morelos before Esa Teraevae restored parity for the visitors three minutes later.
Nnamdi Oduamadi and ex-Milan fullback Taye Taiwo started and went the distance against HIFK while midfielder Vincent Onovo lasted 17 minutes on his return from injury.
HJK top the standings in Finland with 26 points ahead of IFK Mariehamn.
