Lille Announce Vincent Enyeama Has Signed A New Two-Year Deal
Published: May 26, 2016Through a statement on their official website, French Ligue 1 club Lille have announced that they have extended their cooperation with ex-Nigeria skipper Vincent Enyeama.
The goalkeeper will now remain at Les Dogues until the summer of 2019 having signed a new two-year deal, with the previous agreement between the parties set to run out at the end of next season.
Vincent Enyeama started his career in Europe with Israeli club Bnei Yehuda before spells at Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The 33-year-old was one of the star performers in the Ligue 1 last term, posting 18 shutouts in 35 appearances and conceded 24 goals
A product of Enyimba, Enyeama called time on his career with the Super Eagles in October 2015 after a publicized dispute with former Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh.
