Chelsea Defender Kenneth Omeruo Finally Arrives In France After Visa Hitch
Published: May 27, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Kenneth Omeruo has finally arrived in France to link up with his international teammates after he encountered problems securing a visa.
The Chelsea defender was at the Team Hotel before the squad left for the Stade Robert Diochon but was not given a run-out against Mali as he was travel weary and did not train with the team.
Omeruo remained on the bench throughout the contest alongside Elderson Echiejile (Monaco), Daniel Akpeyi (Chippa United) and Ikechukwu Ezenwa (Sunshine Stars).
Meanwhile, Porto defender Chidozie Awaziem has not yet been issued a visa and remains a doubt for Tuesday evening’s clash against Luxembourg.
