NFF Supremo, Super Eagles Coach Happy With Display Against Mali
Published: May 28, 2016The Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick and interim coach of the national team, Salisu Yusuf, were pleased with the display of the Super Eagles against Mali at the Stade Robert Diochon on Friday.
A 77th minute strike from substitute Kelechi Iheanacho was enough to secure victory over the West African opponents.
Pinnick told thenff.com : “I’m quite happy with the display and the result.”
Coach Yusuf added : “The performance is inspiring and I am happy about the team spirit. Every player fought well on the field. The commitment and determination is there, and we hope to carry this forward.”
The Super Eagles will depart France on Sunday for Luxembourg City, ahead of the friendly against Luxembourg on Tuesday night.
