Exclusive: Super Eagles Coach Names Starting XI To Face Luxembourg; Arsenal Starlet Iwobi, Echiejile,Umar Start
Published: May 31, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Super Eagles interim coach Salisu Yusuf has revealed his starting line-up for Tuesday evening’s international friendly against Luxembourg.
As expected the Nigeria manager has made some changes to the squad that started against Mali last Friday as he wants to run the rule over majority of the players that were called up for the matches.
Chippa United glovesman Daniel Akpeyi starts in between the posts ahead of Wolves number one Carl Ikeme.
Gent loanee William Troost-Ekong and Chelsea’s Kenneth Omeruo will form the central defense, with Elderson Echiejile and Musa Mohammed completing the back four.
União da Madeira midfielder Abdullahi Shehu will shield the defense while the duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Eddy Onazi are also in the middle of the pack.
The attack is made up of Olympiakos star Brown Ideye, Arsenal’s Iwobi and Aminu Umar of Osmanlıspor.
