Arsenal Midfielder Iwobi Pleased With Nigeria Win Over Luxembourg
Published: May 31, 2016Arsenal attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi was delighted with the Super Eagles 3-1 victory over Luxembourg in an international friendly on Tuesday evening at Stade Josy Barthel.
The ex-England youth international was named in the starting line-up for the second straight international game before he made way for Michael Babatunde ten minutes out of intermission.
“Good Win , Good Team Performance Against Luxembourg #SuperEagles ð��³ð��¬â��ð��½ï¸�.” Iwobi posted on Twitter.
Brown Ideye, Kelechi Iheanacho and Odion Ighalo were on the score sheet for the Super Eagles.
Hale End Academy product Iwobi earned his sixth cap for the Nigerian national team against the European minnows.
