Dele Alli Features, Barkley Benched As England Beat Portugal At Wembley
Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli was in action on Thursday night as England beat Portugal 1-0 at Wembley Stadium in their final game before heading to France for the 2016 European Championship.

The highly-rated midfielder, wearing the number 20 jersey, started the game and was on parade for 89 minutes before he was replaced by Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson.

The two teams were unable to be separated until the 86th minute when Chris Smalling popped up with the winning goal, heading the ball past Rui Patricio after he was teed up by Raheem Sterling.

Having featured against Australia last Friday, Everton midfielder Ross Barkley watched on from the sidelines against the Portuguese.

England won their three friendly fixtures ahead of their first game in the Euros against Russia on June 11.
