CSKA Moscow Confirm Transfer Of Ahmed Musa To Leicester City
Published: July 03, 2016CSKA Moscow coach Leonid Slutsky has confirmed that Ahmed Musa will travel to England in the next 48 hours to complete his move to Leicester City.
The 23-year-old is presently with the Muscovites at their training camp but did not take part in Sunday’s scrimmage against FC Yenisey Krasnoyarsk, fueling speculation that a move is in the offing.
“Flies on Tuesday, the move is to the champion of the Premier League, ” Leonid Slutsky told Russian newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta .
The Russian champions have started planning for life without their Nigerian forward and hope to complete the signing of a foreign player in the coming days.
“Soon a good striker will come to CSKA, a foreigner. I am not going to call the surname, I think it will be announced next week, ” added Slutsky.
The same source has reported that the Army Men will pocket $21 million for agreeing to shred their agreement with Musa before its expiration.
