Chelsea Nigerian Defender Scores Winner Against Feyenoord In Premier League Cup

England U20 international of Nigerian descent Fikayo Tomori netted the winner as Chelsea defeated Feyenoord 2-1 in the Premier League International Cup on Tuesday evening.
The defender and young striker Ike Ugbo were included in the starting eleven of the Blues and lasted the distance at Electrical Services Stadium (Aldershot, Hampshire).
The visitors took the lead in the 12th minute through Turkey U21 international Basacikoglu, and the scoreboard didn’t change until the 84th minute when Sterling leveled matters.
A minute later, Tomori scored after a well-timed run into the box, with Martell Taylor-Crossdale providing the assist.
Chelsea were without Dominic Solanke and Ola Aina for the game against Feyenoord.
