Wolfsburg Dismiss Sporting Director Who Approved Signing Of Victor Osimhen
Published: December 13, 2016
Bundesliga club Wolfsburg have parted company with their managing director of sport and communications Klaus Allofs following a poor run of results.
After 14 matches in the German top-flight, The Wolves occupy the 15th position and have lost eight games, including last weekend’s 5-0 loss to champions Bayern Munich.
The chairman of the club Francisco Javier Garcia Sanz stated that the decision was made after in-depth analysis conducted over the past few weeks and interview with Allofs.
A retired Germany international, Allofs recommended the signing of Nigeria U23 international Victor Osimhen in January 2016.
He joined Wolfsburg from Werder Bremen in 2012.
