Layton Ndukwu On Target As Leicester Advance In FA Youth Cup
Published: December 15, 2016Leicester City U18s have advanced to the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup following a 3-1 victory over Leyton Orient at King Power Stadium on Wednesday night.
England youth international Layton Ndukwu gave the Foxes the lead with 27 minutes on the clock, the winger finished from close range after he was set up by Leshabela.
Leicester City doubled their advantage in the 72nd minute through Hodby, before Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall added more gloss to the scoreline with four minutes remaining.
Ndukwu and another Nigerian youngster Ughelumba started and lasted the distance against Leyton Orient.
The Foxes reward for beating Leyton Orient is a meeting with either Barnsley or Carlisle United in the fourth round.
