Iwobi Tricks Forces Zabaleta To Be Replaced As Disappointing Arsenal Lose To Man City
Manchester City moved within seven points of runaway leaders Chelsea in the Premier League standings following a 2-1 win against Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday evening.

Super Eagles youngster Alex Iwobi made the Gunners starting XI, while Kelechi Iheanacho came on with six minutes remaining.

Arsenal were given a flying start by Theo Walcott who scored in the fifth minute after a supply from Sanchez.

Iwobi sparkled in the first half, three times he took on Zabaleta and went past him with considerable ease. City manager Pep Guardiola’s response was to replace the Argentine before the start of the second half.

The Citizens scored within two minutes of the restart.
Leroy Sane found himself in a 1 on 1 situation with the goalkeeper and composed himself before slotting home.

On 71 minutes, Raheem Sterling gave City the lead, dribbling past the Arsenal defense before firing the ball through Monreal’s legs, after a magnificent ball from De Bruyne.

In their next fixture, Arsenal host West Brom while City travel to Hull City.
