Official : Charlton, Wigan Athletic Retain Aribo, Odelusi
Published: May 17, 2017Through official channels, EFL League One outfits Charlton Athletic and Wigan have confirmed their retained lists following the conclusion of the 2016-2017 campaign.
Addicks Nigerian duo Joe Aribo and Josh Umerah are among the players that will be part of pre-season training, having been retained.
Midfielder Aribo broke into the first team of the London club this season, making 22 appearances in all competitions, while Umerah spent the second half of the season at Kilmarnock FC, for whom he made four appearances in the Scottish Premiership.
Relegated Wigan Athletic have announced that winger Sanmi Odelusi remains contracted to the club beyond June 2017, and is due to return to pre-season training with the rest of the squad.
He was loaned out to Blackpool for the remainder of the season in the January transfer window.
