Nigeria Coach Visits Chelsea Dazzler Moses In London, NFF Boss Checks On Wolves' Ikeme
Published: July 14, 2017Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has visited Chelsea right wing-back Victor Moses and Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Carl Ikeme in the United Kingdom.
According to the Nigerian Federation, Rohr was accompanied on the trip to England by NFF President Amaju Pinnick.
It is thought that the German traveled to London to confirm the availability of Victor Moses for Nigeria's World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon in early September.
The former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic man asked to be omitted from the Super Eagles roster that surprisingly lost 2-0 to South Africa last month, citing a ''toe injury''.
Moses has been undergoing full training and gym work with Chelsea's first team since Monday, July 10 as he wasn't involved with the national team in June.
Wolverhampton Wanderers number one Carl Ikeme was recently diagnosed with acute leukaemia, the Nigerian Federation supremo and Rohr came to offer their support.
