Josh Onomah Tipped For Great Things After Scoring First Career League Goal
Published: August 26, 2017Aston Villa coach Steve Bruce had nothing but praise for England U21 international Josh Onomah after his brilliant 65th minute strike earned his team a share of the spoils in their 1-1 draw with Bristol City on Friday.
Bristol City's lead lasted only five minutes with the Tottenham Hotspur loanee equalizing with a long-range effort.
''I was delighted for Josh. He’s walked in the door and he’s had a run of games in a matter of weeks,'' Bruce told the national press.
''It’s great experience for him and he will have enjoyed the goal today in front of the Villa supporters.
''He’s going to be a very good player.''
Josh Onomah has scored two goals in competitive games since he turned professional, but his strike versus Bristol City was his first career league goal.
